I’m an artist from London, creating positive images of people of colour, so that families like mine can see themselves represented in the world around them.

Basseral Paris

​I created this bespoke design to celebrate the
launch of a new boutique in Paris, France.
​
The brief was to create an image of four fashionable
women from different backgrounds
and of different body shapes showcasing unique
styles in keeping with the brand.
​
After initial drafts the client requested the addition
of some patterns. One design I drew directly
using one of the clients pieces for reference and the other
patterns I created and designed.

After using an image of Michelle to create a fun portrait she asked me to encorporate it into a logo using SW11/Battersea as a theme.
​
I took the iconic Battersea Power Station and used the
silhouette to frame the design.
​
Using the design I have gone onto designing business cards, flyers,
T-shirts, Badges, Bags & Hoodies for the brand.

Family Portrait
​
This request for a full body commision with background included the requirement that the child be drawn as taller and a couple of years older. With no reference I used instinct to depict the age.
